Main responsibilities: translating and proofreading software (including games), online help, user documentation, websites, product specifications, marketing, e-learning texts and more from English into Dutch (both Belgian and Dutch locales). Other tasks included editing MT output (post-editing), SEO research and localisation and providing linguistic QA and testing (screenshots, websites, mobile games) in both languages. Alpha CRC is a specialist localisation and translation company with many years' experience adapting software products for the global market, together with the translation of documentation and help material.
Internship in Keywords International (Dublin) during which I translated and proofread in-game and marketing texts from English into Dutch for several major game publishers. Other responsibilities included linguistic bug fixing and providing project management support. Keywords International is a leading language and technical services provider to the global video games and entertainment industry.
